We live in a time when the art of healing has been professionalized, taken from the people, and cordoned off behind certifications and years of schooling.
Anatomical Touch is an inquiry into the power and permission of healing
Through the ancient art of Gua sha, we aim to tune people back into their intuitive ability to heal.
Gua sha roughly translates to ‘scrape stagnant energy.’
Before it was adapted for cosmetics in the Western world, traditional Gua sha was used by everyday people to tend to their own bodies. Using only a jar lid and with basic knowledge of the body, you can improve the flow of oxygen to muscles and release stagnant energy.
After our 1 to 3 day workshops, you’ll leave with a deeper attunement to the body and have the skills to move energy and relieve tension anywhere, anytime.
All it takes is a jar lid.
